At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. All readers are welcome it's BYOBook (or browse the library shelves!). Settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading. At the end of the hour, attendees can socialize—or not! 

Each month join us for a Pumpkin Patch Project: a fun fall themed craft! This month, get ready to scare some crows away! We will make our own mini scarecrows!

Join us for a fun and exciting storytime in honor of National Fire Prevention Week!

For three-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration Required; registering for one class registers you for the whole session. 

Kids in Grades 3 to 6 can sign up to join us at the Barney Library to learn basic engineering and coding with Lego SPIKE Prime!  Build and code to create amazing LEGO models that come to life.

Come craft with us in the Children's Department! Each project features at least one thing that was made in our MakerSpace upstairs. 

Friends in Grades 7-12 can learn to hand-sew, an essential life skill and fun creative endeavor, by making their own personalized Dinosaur Chicken Nugget plushie! 

Ages 12-23 Months with a caregiver.  A fun-filled storytime featuring books, music, movement, and playtime!

In Pint-Sized Picassos we share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

Have fun getting to know the ABCs! This early literacy program focuses on teaching children the letters of the alphabet and their associated sounds through stories, crafts, and hands-on activities. 

Local resident and retired educator, John Sherman, is bringing his love for one of our oldest board games – “The Game of Kings!” - to the Farmington Library.  Beginners through advanced are welcome.
