Farmington, CT – August 27, 2024 – The Connecticut Mosquito Management Program has confirmed the presence of West Nile virus (WNV) in mosquitoes collected from a testing site in Farmington. This marks the first positive identification of the virus in Farmington this season.
The Fall 2024 children’s programs are now available to view in the Event Calendar.

We recently made changes to our Hoopla offerings in order to make this popular service sustainable within the confines of the library’s budget. To balance our collections expenses across the many formats we offer, we are testing controls on Hoopla borrowing.
The Farmington Libraries will be closed for Staff Development on Thursday, August 22 and Friday, August 23.
Both buildings will be open Saturday, August 24, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM for our final Summer Saturday of the season!
