Adventure Awaits at The Farmington Libraries Summer Reading Kickoff Celebration on Wednesday, June 18 from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM!

Join us for a moderated conversation with Rich Cohen. We’ll explore the local connections of this story, and the investigative journalism techniques crucial to true crime accounting.

Let’s move and groove together at the Barney Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing in the Hoppin Gallery. This is a drop in program, no registration required!

Come play at Barney Library. Time for caregivers and children to form friendships! Parents can chat while children play in the Gallery turned playroom! Drop in for a few minutes or stay the whole time. No registration required. 

Calling all Pokémon fans! 

At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. All readers are welcome it's BYOBook (or browse the library shelves!). When you arrive head upstairs to Information Services, there's a variety of seating options.

Kids going into kindergarten through grade three can join us for a silly sloth story. After our story, we will make a sleepy sloth craft to take home!

Teens in Grades 7 to 12 are invited to join us at the Barney Library, 71 Main Street for a fun and creative event where they can decorate their very own plant pot and choose seeds from our Seed Library to start their gardening journey.

Getting started on your home garden, or looking to expand it? Learn how to turn your plant cuttings into more plants in this hands-on propagation workshop! We will cover the whole process from pruning to potting.
