Healing Arts on the Green

To support our community's health and wellness as we transition out of the pandemic, First Church of Christ, Congregational, 1652, and the Farmington Libraries are hosting a series of free experiential events to help participants learn simple, practical tools of self-healing to balance and harmonize soul, heart, mind & body. No prior training is necessary.

The event will take place in Amistad Hall at the Sarah Porter Memorial on 75 Main Street. Masks are required.

September 7: Sound Healing with Kelvin Young

Kelvin Young returns for another relaxing sound healing session. Kelvin is a certified Sound Healer who has presented around the country in diverse settings. Through the sounds of the crystal and Tibetan singing bowls and gongs the mind is calmed, the body relaxed and the soul is nourished.

Other events in the series:

September 14: Bespoke Yoga with Pat Reville

September 21: Guided Journaling and Cleansing Meditation with Debra Borrero

September 28: Integrating Sound and Color into Qigong Practice with Marie Lavendier and Suan Armstrong
