The 1619 Project Book Club is a a five week hybrid event that includes virtual visits plus an in person finale dinner session. We will examine The New York Times number 1 bestseller The 1619 Project: A New Origin Story.

Join us on this monthly series as we investigate Nikole-Jones' expansion of the essays presented in the 1619 Project issue of The New York Times Magazine, in August 2019.The anthology of works was created by a myriad of authors on a wide range of topics, surrounding the repercussions of slavery in the United States.

Be a part of a historical new beginning as we discuss this landmark collection. Presented by Farmington Historical Society's Andre Keitt in conjunction with the Farmington Libraries.
