Fall treasures
If you’ve been following Farmington Room news, you may remember that we began cleaning and dusting the antique book collection. A couple of weeks ago we found some odd treasures inside these books that I wanted to share.
This September, we’re celebrating everything that makes the library magical — and we want to hear from YOU! Whether it’s the books, the quiet spaces, the events, the people, or the memories, tell us why the library matters to you.
Pick up a Summer Visit Challenge at the Barney Library beginning June 16 (and earn your first stamp!)
Visit us each week to earn a weekly stamp.
Each stamp is an entry, 10 visits = 10 entries
The Farmington Library will be undergoing painting in areas throughout the building during the month of June. This may mean limited access to certain spaces or materials being moved in the interim.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
The Farmington Libraries are excited to announce a limited run of library cards featuring artwork by Jalyn Wan, an 8th-grade student at Irving A. Robbins Middle School!
Visit the Barney Library, 71 Main Street in the month of June and take part in our Rubber Frog Hunt.
If you find a frog, the next step is simple, just bring the frog to the front desk and be entered to win a prize!
