Week Calendar

Come play at Barney Library. Time for caregivers and children to form friendships! Parents can chat while children play in the Hoppin Gallery turned playroom. Drop in for a few minutes or stay the whole time. No registration required. 

Get ready to wiggle, read and explore! This storytime centers movement and sensory exploration to enhance learning outcomes for toddlers!

Drop-in program.

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

For three-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration Required; registering for one class registers you for the whole session. 

In Pint-Sized Picassos we share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

Registration Required; open to children ages 3-5.

In Bite Size Science we will share a story and complete an exciting experiment or project focusing on early science concepts!

Registration Required; registering for one class registers you for the whole session. Open to those ages 3-5!

Get Moving with My Gym Mobile! Practice strength, agility, and flexibility through exercise, games, music and more with an instructor from MyGym West Hartford!

Join us for unstructured sensory play at the library! Get your wiggles out and enjoy an easy sensory activity at this drop in program.
