Kids in Grades K to 4 can join us at the Barney Library for a different activity each month! This is a time for Creativity, Reading, Engineering, Art, Technology, and Exploration! Will we build with LEGOs? Make our own graphic novel? Paint?

Ages 12-23 Months with a caregiver.  A fun-filled storytime featuring books, music, movement, and playtime!

In Pint-Sized Picassos we share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

Have fun getting to know the ABCs! This early literacy program focuses on teaching children the letters of the alphabet and their associated sounds through stories, crafts, and hands-on activities. 

Local resident and retired educator, John Sherman, is bringing his love for one of our oldest board games – “The Game of Kings!” - to the Farmington Library.  Beginners through advanced are welcome.

Join Teen Librarian Lex and gab, chatter, blather, chit-chat, communicate, converse, and enjoy a cup of tea. Let’s talk about books, movies, anime, what you’re up to, what’s on your mind, and anything else! 

Terrific Twos is designed for the child who will be 24 months old at the start of the session. We will build early literacy skills through the use of books, rhymes, finger play and songs. 

Drop in for this freestyle craft morning--no instructions, no project. Join us in the Hoppin Gallery where we'll have available a variety of supplies. Bring a project you're already working on, or just let the creative juices flow.

In Bite Size Science we will share a story and complete an exciting experiment or project focusing on early science concepts!

Join us on October 1st for an interactive session on bicycle safety and maintenance. You'll learn essential bike knowledge, including flat tire repair and ABC quickchecks.

This program provides the opportunity for children to explore early learning math concepts by listening to books and participating in hands-on math activities.
