Let’s move and groove together at the Barney Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing in the Hoppin Gallery. This is a drop in program, no registration required!

Have fun getting to know the ABCs! This early literacy program focuses on teaching children the letters of the alphabet and their associated sounds through stories, crafts, and hands-on activities. 

Terrific Twos is designed for the child who will be 24 months old at the start of the session. We will build early literacy skills through repetition and the use of books, rhymes, play and songs. 

In Bite Size Science we will share a story and complete an exciting experiment or project focusing on early science concepts!

Join Miss Shana or Miss Amy for 30 minutes of books, finger plays and songs perfect for ages 0 to 24 month. This lapsit storytime is the perfect introduction to storytimes for babies and caregivers. 

Adaptive storytime will offer families of  neurodiverse children ages 4 -10 a relaxed, interactive storytime.

There is time for public comment at each regularly scheduled Board meeting.  Should you wish to speak, please register with the Administration office.

Are you looking for some new books to read? Come to one of our book tastings to gain exposure to new items. Our server will seat you and give you a menu of selections. For each course you can pick a blind item, based on a brief description.

Join us each session to read a magical story and do a craft based on it! This month we will read "Love Z" by Jessie Sima and customize our own cute robots!
