What’s In, What’s Out: A Workshop on Recycling by the Green Efforts Committee

Learn more about which items should be placed in your recycling bin (What’s IN) and which items belong elsewhere (What’s OUT)! Guest Speaker Chelsey Hahn from the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) will provide an overview of recycling in CT, explain "wish-cycling", discuss ideas to reduce household waste and more. Chelsey Hahn has been with CT DEEP since 2020 and is part of the Sustainable Materials Management Group where she works to support compliance with the Commercial Organics Recycling law. She has a Master’s Degree in Public Health from UConn Health. Chelsey can be reached at Chelsey.Hahn@ct.gov.
