Join local author, Bethany O'Brien and special guest, Jonathan the Husky for UConn themed activities and a book reading of their new children’s book, the Lucky Husky, the first of a series, which features Jonathan the Husky, UConn’s beloved mascot, and his role as the basketball team’s good luck charm. This heartwarming story is perfect for young readers, UConn families, and fans of Connecticut traditions. Come to meet Jonathan, purchase a signed copy of the book, and stay for coloring activities and a Husky Hunt around the library.
About the Author:
Bethany O’Brien is a proud UConn alum and lives with her family in Connecticut. She met her husband freshman year and together they share their love of UConn with their two kids. Now she’s integrating her passion for her alma mater into a children’s book celebrating UConn’s basketball success.
