Seventy years ago, devastating flooding forever changed Farmington/Unionville in August 1955. Join us for a special presentation and survivor panel discussion as learn about how the destruction unfolded, honor the resilience residents and heroic first responders, and remember those lost.

The program will also feature survivors offering first-hand accounts of their experiences and reflect on how neighbors supported one another in the aftermath. Attendees will be encouraged to ask questions, share memories, and take part in keeping local history alive. Seating is limited

Presented by The Unionville Museum, the talk is based on their current exhibition which draws upon their extensive collection of flood memorabilia and oral histories.
