Beekeeper Mark Ceneri will lead this demonstration as he wears his bee suit and shows how beekeeping equipment, including hives, frames, a smoker, and hive tools are used.

Program will include:

• A tasting of Connecticut raw honey

• Lively discussion on the importance of pollination to food production

• Captivating facts about the cooperative structure of honeybee society, including bees’ many roles in the hive

•  All you need to know about honey, royal jelly, and beeswax
