The Farmington Libraries joins communities nationwide in celebrating National Library Outreach Day, today, April 22, 2026. Formerly known as National Bookmobile Day, this annual event highlights the vital role libraries and library professionals play in connecting people with information, resources, and services—especially those who might otherwise have limited access.
Outreach Service supports community members who are unable to visit the library through regular means. Adults, teens, and children who are ill, disabled, temporarily or permanently confined to their homes can still enjoy access to library materials and services.
In addition, our Youth Services staff offers outreach storytimes and presentations for students from preschool through Grade 12, helping young people discover everything the library has to offer!
