Congratulations to The Friends of the Farmington Library who were award the Friends Group Award at The Friends of Connecticut Libraries Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony on June 10.

Stop by the Book Nook located in the lobby of the Main Library and help Support the Library!  By purchasing books at the Book Nook and book sale events you are helping the Friends provide financial support to the Libraries to enhance the quality of programs, materials & event

The SPRING BOOK SALE is coming up March 31 & April 1 at the Farmington Main Library.

The Friends of the Library are looking for donations for an upcoming Spring Book Sale.  Please check out our donation guidelines below.

We are very grateful for your donations. Without your generosity, we would not be able to raise money as we do at our yearly book sales and BOOK NOOK, which benefit all the many library we all enjoy.

Stop by the Main Library for a Lobby Book Sale on Saturday, November 19 from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Purchase adult fiction, books for kids of all ages, and enjoy a special collection sale of Eastern religions & philosophy, spirituality, meditation, yoga books.

If you're interested in donating books please follow the guidelines below set up by The Friends of the Library.

Books must be in excellent condition, free of dust, mildew, no torn pages/covers and published after 2015 (except for classics)

Stop into the Main Library and checkout the gardening display in the lobby.

While you're there pick up a Library Garden Bingo Card and complete the scavenger hunt of the garden. People who participate have a chance to win a packet of seeds!

It is with excitement and pride that The Friends of the Farmington Libraries celebates its 75th anniversary. There is quite a history surrounding the reaching of this significant milestone.

The Friends of the Farmington Libraries are holding a special ONE DAY book sale of fiction only for kids and adults on Saturday, June 11 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM in the Jay Johnston Community Room.
