Why put away those costumes you’re not going to use next year?
The Children’s Department at the Farmington Library, 6 Monteith Drive is accepting new or gently used Halloween costumes for children, teens, and adults!
What will be accepted :
The Winter (December, January & February) 2025/2026 children’s programs are now available to view in the Event Calendar.
Registration will begin on Saturday, November 8.

If you’ve been following Farmington Room news, you may remember that we began cleaning and dusting the antique book collection. A couple of weeks ago we found some odd treasures inside these books that I wanted to share.
The Farmington Libraries’ 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program is a fun, exciting, and free way to start your child on the path to success! Any child ages birth to five years can participate. Just follow these steps:
Drop off new or gently used Halloween costumes for children, teens, and adults to the Children’s Department at the Farmington Library, 6 Monteith Drive now through September 30.*
The Fall 2025 Teen Volunteering Interest Form is now open! Teens interested in volunteering can fill out the interest form and application between 8/25/25- 9/15/25, or until we have reached 25 volunteers.
