3d Printer File Submission

  • 3D printing costs $.05 p/gram plus a $2 service fee. We will contact you with a cost estimate before running your job(s).
  • Prints may not exceed 250mmx250mm.
  • All jobs may not exceed 11 hours. If your print will run longer than this, we will contact you with alternative options.
  • We use PLA filament in a variety of colors for all jobs.
  • We will not print any objects which violate the law, are obscene, or pose a danger to others.
  • You may request a total of 3 separate jobs at a time. Each job needs its own form.
  • You must email the STL file of your job to MAKERSPACE@FARMINGTONLIBRARIES.ORG.


There are no guaranteed completion dates, and it may take a few weeks for staff to complete your request. Jobs will be run in the order they are received, and we may be unable to accommodate requests to complete your job by a particular date. 

Completed jobs may be picked up at the Information Desk at the Farmington Library, 6 Monteith Drive. Payment is needed at pick-up. Staff will follow up with details after your job is completed.
