Drop-in program.

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

Join Miss Shana or Miss Amy for 30 minutes of books, finger plays and songs perfect for ages 0 to 24 month. This lapsit storytime is the perfect introduction to storytimes for babies and caregivers. 

Join the Farmington Artists Circle at the Barney Library to talk about how we might build a more connected cultural art community here in Farmington.

Have fun getting to know the ABCs! This early literacy program focuses on teaching children the letters of the alphabet and their associated sounds through stories, crafts, and hands-on activities. 

School is out early so kids age 7-12 are invited to come to the Barney Library, 71 Main Street to make your own Perler Bead Backpack Tag!  We will iron it for you and add a clip so you can hang it on your backpack.  Follow a pattern or m

Adaptive storytime will offer families of  neurodiverse children ages 4 -10 a relaxed, interactive storytime.

Curious about Catan? Interested in learning how to play but don't want to learn on your own? Come to our Learn to Play Catan! At the end of the program, you'll get the chance to win your own copy of the game! 

We have teamed up with The Farmington High School Robotics Team for an engaging evening to teach basic S.T.E.A.M principles, all while having fun! Join us each week for a new Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math topic!
