For caregivers of babies ages 0 to 12 months. Drop In!

Ages 12-23 Months with a caregiver.  A fun-filled storytime featuring books, music, movement, and playtime! 

Registration Required; registering for one class registers you for the whole session. 

Terrific Twos is designed for the child who will be 24 months old at the start of the session. We will build early literacy skills through the use of books, rhymes, finger play and songs. 

Get ready to wiggle, read and explore! This storytime centers movement and sensory exploration to enhance learning outcomes for toddlers!

Drop-in program.

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

For three-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration Required; registering for one class registers you for the whole session. 

A socialization group for caregivers and their infants 0-12 months of age.  In this relaxed setting, your babies will explore a variety of toys as we talk about your adjustment to parenthood.  Topics will include any questions you curren

In Pint-Sized Picassos we share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

In Bite Size Science we will share a story and complete an exciting experiment or project focusing on early science concepts!

Join Miss Shana for 30 minutes of books, finger plays and songs perfect for ages 0 to 24 month. This lapsit storytime is the perfect introduction to storytimes for babies and caregivers. 

Step back in time with a special holiday concert that shines a spotlight on the history and charm of the 1905 musical The Gingerbread Man.

Have fun getting to know the ABCs! This early literacy program focuses on teaching children the letters of the alphabet and their associated sounds through stories, crafts, and hands-on activities. 

This program provides the opportunity for children to explore early learning math concepts by listening to books and participating in hands-on math activities.  

Friends in Grades 7-12 can join in an exciting TableTop RolePlaying Game (TTRPG) this Gnomvember! 

Collaborate with other players to tell a story in a shared fictional, fantasy land.

Friends if Grades 7-12 can drop in to this program in the Teen Space during after school time to try something new! Learn a new skill, try a DIY, make a craft, the possibilities are endless! 

No assigned reading—just stories, fun, and creativity! Join Miss Amy at the Barney Library, 71 Main Street after school for a read-aloud and themed craft or activity for students in Grades K-4.

In the 1940s, a small collection of local history materials owned by the Village Library was known as the “Farmington Collection,” stored in a closet off from the main desk of what is now the Barney Branch.

Join us in our MakerSpace for STEAM related fun! Get an introduction to our equipment like the 3D printer and Cricut while getting some hands-on experience.

Adaptive storytime will offer families of  neurodiverse children ages 4 -10 a slower-paced storytime in a small group setting.
