For caregivers of babies ages 0 to 12 months. Drop In!

Terrific Twos is designed for the child who will be 24 months old at the start of the session. We will build early literacy skills through the use of books, rhymes, finger play and songs. 

Get ready to wiggle, read and explore! This storytime centers movement and sensory exploration to enhance learning outcomes for toddlers!

Halloween costumes encouraged! We will parade around the library at the end of the program.

Come play with some toys at the Barney Library. Open play time with our toys! Drop in, no registration required perfect for ages 1-5.

In Pint-Sized Picassos we share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

Each month join us for a Pumpkin Patch Project: a fun fall themed craft! This month, let's decorate an apple to make it look like a turkey! We will use candy to make the sweetest turkey there ever was!

Have fun getting to know the ABCs! This early literacy program focuses on teaching children the letters of the alphabet and their associated sounds through stories, crafts, and hands-on activities. 

This program provides the opportunity for children to explore early learning math concepts by listening to books and participating in hands-on math activities.  

Kids in Grades K to 4 can join us at the Barney Library for a different activity each month! This is a time for Creativity, Reading, Engineering, Art, Technology, and Exploration! Will we build with LEGOs? Make our own graphic novel? Paint?

Halloween parade meets Mad Scientist! What could go wrong?! Wear your costume! We'll do a craft, trick or treat around the library and participate in a mad science experiment. Mwahahaha!!!

Adaptive storytime will offer families of  neurodiverse children ages 4 -10 a slower-paced storytime in a small group setting.

Decorate your Halloween cookie with an edible paint palette with Elle's Sugar Shoppe!!! After creating your masterpiece, you can take your cookie home or eat it here at the library.
