Week Calendar

All ages welcome.  Please call the Library at 860-673-6791 to schedule your very own one-on-one time with the new dog Flynn.  Bring your own book or choose one of ours to snuggle and read.  Spots are limited.

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Hoppin Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

Family Story Time – Under the Sea! Fish Tales 

All Ages. No Registration Required 

Enjoy fishy stories, play with puppets, move to music, and make a fishy project. 

The ImagineNation Museum Early Learning Center will join us for a Bubble Exploration!  Participants will learn what shapes can be made with their own handmade bubble wands.  Create your own bubble art pictures with a straw and the power

We’ll be kicking off our library-wide Summer Reading Program with a family picnic.  Bring a blanket or some chairs and a picnic dinner to the lawn; we’ll have DJ Red Supreme spinning music and leading dances; Judi Ann Jones – The Energizer!

Make meal making family time! Tweens, Teens, and their parents/guardians will make a dish from the monthly cookbook and bring it to the next meeting for a potluck.
