Week Calendar

A fun-filled half hour for child and caregiver featuring books, fingerplays, and lots of music. 

Registration required; register once for the whole session. 

Please note: no class on April 10

 Each week we will share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

For babies ages 0 to 12 months with their caregivers. Registration required; registering for one class registers you for the session.  

Drop-in program.

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

Please note: no class on 3/30, 4/13, 4/27

Come play with some toys at the Barney library. Open play time with our toys! Drop in, no registration required. Ages 1-5

For two-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration required; register once for the session. 

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

Ages 2.5 - 3 and their caregivers. Registration required; register once for the Spring session. 

Celebrate the Month!

Join Miss Amy for a special story time and a craft! This program will be indoors and upstairs in the Hoppin Gallery. Registration required. Ages 2-5

For three- and four-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration Required; registering for one class registers you for the session. 

What is the theme going to be today? Surprise! Expect the unexpected. If you like to be surprised, this storytime is for you.

We’ll share stories and rhymes and then get our hands dirty while planting sunflower seeds!

Take our Legos and your imagination and what will you build? Creations will be on display for 2 weeks after the program. Duplos available for younger builders. 

Come take a trip around the world with our favorite caterpillar!  We'll read this classic book in both English and another language, then do some fun activities together to learn about the featured culture.  You'll get a special passport

Share your love of the Dog Man series with your friends! We will provide an assortment of Dog Man themed games, activities, and snack.
