Week Calendar

A fun-filled half hour for child and caregiver featuring books, fingerplays, and lots of music. 

Registration required; register once for the whole session. 

Please note: no class on April 10

 Each week we will share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

For babies ages 0 to 12 months with their caregivers. Registration required; registering for one class registers you for the session.  

Drop-in program.

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

Please note: no class on 3/30, 4/13, 4/27

For two-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration required; register once for the session. 

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

Ages 2.5 - 3 and their caregivers. Registration required; register once for the Spring session. 

For three- and four-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration Required; registering for one class registers you for the session. 

We’ll pull out our special Play Toys and Busy Bags and play some fun music in our Children’s Program Room for you to enjoy!   No registration required.

For ages 1-5 with a caregiver.

For two-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration required; register once for the 7-week session. 

Kala Farnham is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter from the Quiet Corner of Connecticut. She began her musical journey at a young age, and in high school she established herself as a working musician.

Speak to your child in the language you know best!  Connect with other families who speak Spanish as you read, play, and socialize.

Ages 0-5 with caregiver.

For children in grades 1-4. Registration Required. 

Bring a friend and create customized backpack keychains of your favorite characters or other designs using paint pens on acrylic disks.

**Note: an extra class was added to the series - April 25th.
