Week Calendar

 Each week we will share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

For caregivers of babies ages 0 to 12 months. Registration required; registering for one class registers you for the session.  

Drop-in program.

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

 Have fun getting to know the ABCs! This early literacy program focuses on the alphabet by introducing children to a different letter of the alphabet each week through stories, music, and a craft.

Would you like to read to Sophie, the certified therapy dog?  Call the Library at 860-673-6791 to schedule your very own 10-minute, one-on-one snuggle and read time.  Bring your favorite book or choose one of ours.

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

Ages 2.5 - 3 and their caregivers. Registration required; register once for the 8-week session. 

Celebrate the Month!

Join Miss Amy for a special story time and a craft! This program will be indoors and upstairs in the Hoppin Gallery. Registration required. Ages 2-5

For three-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration Required; registering for one class registers you for the session. 

Drop into this fun, hands-on program (Homeschoolers Edition!) where you will be able to design and build models of working electrical circuits with Snap Circuits® or create simple coding "programs" with Ozobots®.

For children in grades 1-4. Registration Required. 

Do you love Pokemon?  Wear yellow and come have some Pokemon fun!

Come take a trip around the world with our favorite caterpillar!  We'll read this classic book in both English and another language, then do some fun activities together to learn about the featured culture.  You'll get a special passport
