Join us each session to read a magical story and do a craft based on it! 

This month we will read The Mud Fairy by Amy Young and create our own magical frog ponds!

Open to those in grades 1-4. Registration Required.

Terrific Twos is designed for the child who will be 24 months old at the start of the session. We will build early literacy skills through repetition and the use of books, rhymes, play and songs. 

In Bite Size Science we will share a story and complete an exciting experiment or project focusing on early science concepts!

Join Miss Shana or Miss Amy for 30 minutes of books, finger plays and songs perfect for ages 0 to 24 month. This lapsit storytime is the perfect introduction to storytimes for babies and caregivers.

Join us in our MakerSpace for STEAM related fun! Get an introduction to our equipment like the 3D printer and Cricut while getting some hands-on experience.

Adaptive storytime will offer families of neurodiverse* children ages 3 -10 an engaging storytime in a small group setting.

There is time for public comment at each regularly scheduled Board meeting.  Should you wish to speak, please register with the Administration office.

This storytime weaves the development of language and listening skills into a fun-filled program of read-alouds, flannel board activities, music, movement, and rhymes.  

Kids in Grades K to 4 can join us at the Barney Library for a different activity each month! This is a time for Creativity, Reading, Engineering, Art, Technology, and Exploration! Will we build with LEGOs? Make our own graphic novel? Paint?

Let’s move and groove together at the Barney Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing in the Hoppin Gallery. This is a drop in program, no registration required!
