Come craft with us in the Children's Department! Each project features at least one thing that was made in our MakerSpace upstairs.

Adaptive Storytime offers families of neurodiverse children ages 3 -10 a structured slower-paced Storytime experience.

Drop in and play outside at the Barney Library! Listen to some fun stories and then have a playtime with your friends on the playground. A great place to meet friends old and new!

Join Miss Shana for 30 minutes of books, finger plays and songs perfect for ages 0 to 24 month. This lapsit storytime is the perfect introduction to storytimes for babies and caregivers. 

Invent the Summer features weekly STEM challenges created by kids, for kids! Complete each challenge for a chance to win fabulous prizes!

Enjoy some relaxing coloring with a sweet cookie treat! We'll have markers, coloring pencils, and lots of coloring book options!

Toddler Time is a 45-minute action-packed informal learning program for children ages 12 to 36 months. Toddlers and their caregivers will learn new songs, rhymes and finger-plays, share books, make new friends, and play.  

Let’s move and groove together at the Barney Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing in the Hoppin Gallery. This is a drop in program, no registration required!

Join us in our MakerSpace for STEAM related fun! Get an introduction to our equipment like the 3D printer and Cricut while getting some hands-on experience.

Celebrate the season! Come for a special storytime and craft. Sing and dance, be prepared to get messy!

We are dependent on honey bees for at least one third of the food that we eat everyday. Learn about our most important pollinators and the Beekeepers that tend to them as well as the benefits of protecting our pollinators.

Do you enjoy reading and talking about books? Come and share your passion with other book lovers! Books will be available for check out 2 weeks before event. We will read and discuss Wonder by R. J. Palacio.
