Have you joined our YOUNG ADULT BOOK CLUB for ages 14 - Adult? This month we will be discussing "Sadie" by Courtney Summers. Wednesday, August 3 at 6:00 PM at the Main Library.

The ADULT WRITING GROUP at the Main Library meets twice a month. Join us Thursday, August 4 and 18 at 6:00 PM to meet other writers, review each others' writing and get prompts to spark your creativity. 

The Barney Library offers DROP-IN JEWELRY MAKING one Monday at month at 9:30 AM, so stop in on August 8! We provide a variety of tools and supplies, and you bring the creativity. This is a self guided independent program (no assistance is available), just drop-in and have fun.

Enjoy our BOARD GAME CAFÉ! Stop in Wednesday August 10 at 6:00 PM (for ages 14 and up!) at the Main Library to play some old favorites or try out a new game!

CELEBRATE NATIONAL BOOK LOVERS DAY with a super cute bookmark craft! On Friday, August 12 at 3:00 PM stop by the Main Library to make your very own book spine bookmark complete with a ribbon as we breathe new life into these old books. 

Stop by the Barney Library on Mondays, August 15, 22 & 29 from 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM and MAKE TINY ART! We will provide tiny canvas and paint supplies, you come with your creativity and make pieces to include in our very own TINY ART SHOW! This program is for all ages (children must be supervised by a parent/caregiver).

Join us at the Main Library on Monday, August 15 at 6:00 PM for a K-POP CELEBRATION. Learn some K-Pop facts, try some K-pop inspired refreshments and listen to some awesome K-Pop music! 

Attend THE BEAUTY IN BREAKING: VIRTUAL AUTHOR TALK WITH MICHELE HARPER on Monday, August 22 at 9:00 PM as she covers many of the lessons she’s learned on her inspiring personal journey and the success of her New York Times bestselling memoir, The Beauty in Breaking.

The Barney Library will be offering a SUMMER MOVIE SERIES, take a break from the summer time heat and come enjoy an afternoon movie, on August 24 at 10:30 AM.

Enjoy a TRIVIA PROGRAM at the Main Library hosted by the staff, Friday, August 26 at 4:00 PM! This general trivia night will test your wits in all areas from science and technology to the arts and pop culture, register for your chance to win some serious bragging rights.

NOVEL IDEAS BOOK CLUB meets at the Barney Library on the last Tuesday of the month at 1:15 PM, this month they will be discussing "Once There Were Wolves" by Charlotte McConaghy, no registration required to join this book club.
