 ealth and wellness as we transition out of the pandemic, First Church of C
 hrist, Congregational, 1652, and the Farmington Libraries are hosting a se
 ries of free experiential events to help participants learn simple, practi
 cal tools of self-healing to balance and harmonize soul, heart, mind &
  body. No prior training is necessary. Bring a towel, mat, blanket, or cha
 ir. Parking is available in the Barney Library lot.\r\nIn case of inclemen
 t weather, the event will be moved indoors to Amistad Hall at the Sarah P
 orter Memorial on 75 Main Street. Masks are required indoors.\r\nAugust 24
  Quigong to Heal and Maintain Health with Marie Lavendier\r\nMarie Lavendi
 er is certified in Qigong (Chi Kung) and various forms of conscious dance.
  Qigong is the ancient art of healing exercises to heal and maintain healt
 h. We open the flow of energy in the body using breath, gentle movement an
 d intention. No previous experience necessary and can be done in a chair.\
