The Farmington Libraries will be closed Saturday, May 28 & Monday, May 30 for Memorial Day. 

Virtual Chess for Beginners

Event Details

For children ages 5-12. Registration Required. 

A professional chess coach and player from DIG USA will be teaching a virtual beginner’s chess class. This is an amazing opportunity for you to learn more about chess and to apply those strategies in real life.  

Registrants will need to create a free Chess.com account and send that account username and their full name to the library at ebajrami@farmingtonlibraries.org by Saturday, October 2,  in order to participate.
