Program Description

Event Details

In this class you will have the opportunity to create two or more charming miniature felted critters. You will start with one basic shape and learn how to use a special barbed needle to transform it into a variety of animals such as a mouse, fox, hedgehog, squirrel or owl. In addition, you will use the wet felting technique to further enhance the shape and firmness of the figure.

**Please note that this workshop will last 3 hours**

Instructor Bio

Elena Gibson has been a practicing fiber artist and educator for over 15 years. Her work is represented by galleries in Connecticut and Massachusetts. As an experienced art teacher, Elena has run numerous workshops in CT and MA in a variety institutions including Farmington Valley Arts Center, West Hartford Art League, Mandell JCC and New England Felting Supply. Originally from Slovakia, Elena has a background in graphic design.

Ages 16 and up. Registration is required. Masks are required. Due to the small class size, we are limiting registrations to two per family.
