Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a thought-provoking conversation with Lynn Katz, a former Farmington school principal. Her debut novel, The Surrogate, explores the psychological profile of a disturbed teen and the high school English teacher who tries to help him. She will discuss how the Sandy Hook tragedy and her own experiences as a teacher and school principal inspired the writing of this domestic thriller. She will share her writing process and answer questions from participants.

Lynn Katz will be in conversation with Seamus McGraw, author of A Thirsty Land: The Making of an American Water Crisis and From a Taller Tower: The Rise of the American Mass Shooter, among other books.

Visit https://www.lynnkatzauthor.com for more information about the author. A copy of The Surrogate is available though https://www.blackrosewriting.com/thrillers/thesurrogate
