How do I get Wi-Fi in the library?
The library has two wi-fi networks available for public use.
PUBLIB - an unsecured network with no log in required available in the first floor lobby and second floor reading area with limited range. Ideal for VPN connections with no printing capability.
SPOT - an unsecured network with a required login (LOGIN ID: library card #, PASSWORD: last name OR obtain a guest pass from Adult Desk) available throughout the entire building. Limited to one hour sessions which can be extended by request at the Adult Desk before time expires. Printing is available at $0.15/page.
BARNEYPUB - an unsecured network at our Branch Library with a required login (LOGIN ID: library card #, PASSWORD: last name OR obtain a guest pass from Information Desk) available throughout the entire building. Limited to one hour sessions which can be extended by request at the desk before time expires. Printing is available at $0.15/page.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Every device connects differently to wireless networks. Our staff will try to be helpful in connecting, but cannot guarantee success. Not all computers/devices are supported for print capabilities.
